Patrick Ugeux moving from Kangaroo to Chellomedia / Liberty Global

In a Flypaper.tv exclusive, we can reveal that Patrick Ugeux has just announced his move to VP of Corporate Development at Chellomedia / Liberty Global. He will commence this role mid-September.

Chellomedia are a global media company which produce and distribute a portfolio of programmes and channels of various genres across the world. They produce thematic channels covering films, entertainment, lifestyle, kids, and documentaries. Their services are available via cable, satellite, IPTV and broadband, including on-demand channels. Chellomedia is a division of Liberty Global, an international operator which provides video, broadband and telephone services to 16million customer homes.

Ugeux has just left his role as Director of Project Kangaroo, having been with ITV for over two years. He first joined the independent television broadcaster as director of marketing strategy at the start of 2006, being responsible for developing ITV’s marketing and viewer insight. Last September he was also made Director of Project Kangaroo, the new online platform collating VOD from ITV, BBC and Channel 4.

As a friend of Flypaper.tv, we’d like to congratulate Patrick on his new role, and wish him the best of luck at Chellomedia!
